CRS invites members to come see the Scofield Mansion! The Scofield Mansion was constructed in 1898 by Levi Scofield for the enjoyment of his family. Perched on the hill rising to the Heights suburbs, its magnificent sighting features Lake Erie and downtown views. Scofield is best known as the architect and sculptor of the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument (Cleveland) on Public Square. The mansion, vacant for years, has faced an uncertain future. Now, thanks to our project partners Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, Precision Environmental Company, Coon Restoration & Sealants, Inc, SecureView Clearboarding, 1st Choice Roofing Company, Cleveland, Ohio, and Doug Hoffman, AIA, of Weber Murphy Fox, the home is stabilized and ready to view! This event is free but limited to CRS members only.
