The Sculpture Center, an arts institution dedicated to advancing the careers of emerging sculptors of Ohio and its greater region and the preservation of Ohio outdoor public sculpture, is hosting its very first Free Summer Community Cookout on Saturday, July 29, from 12 – 4 p.m. for its neighbors and their families, artists, and the greater Cleveland community.
The Sculpture Center organized this event to celebrate the summer in Cleveland with everyone from the area — and particularly wants to extend a hand to individuals from underserved and minority communities to network and discover its resources for families and for early and mid-career artists.
Location: The Sculpture Center (1834 E. 123rd St. Cleveland, Ohio, just south of Euclid Ave. and next to Lake View Cemetery, beside the Euclid Ave. HealthLine and the Little Italy RTA stop).
*** Free and open to the public, family-oriented, and handicap accessible. Parking is free. Vegetarian options and kid-friendly crafts will be available. Rain Date: August 5, 2017.
