About our Speaker:
John Jurco comes from a family of three brothers and five sisters. His parents were Wanda and Albert Jurco. He attended grade school at St. Peter’s in North Ridgeville, Ohio and graduated from Elyria Catholic High School in 1971. John went to the Marines during the Vietnam War conflict and spent his enlistment within the states.
John married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Neff, and are the proud parents of three children: Wendy (43), Anna (40) and Mathew (36) (deceased). They have three beautiful grandchildren: Trevor (15), Kaylyn (15) and Avery (10). After his military service, John worked at different jobs while attending college and became a police officer in 1979. He attended Cleveland Marshall Law School while working as a police officer and received his license to practice law on May 7, 2007.
He is currently an assistant prosecuting attorney in Lorain County working in the grand jury division of the Lorain County Prosecutor’s Office.
