Societal expectations seem to make us believe that once we have a child we automatically understand how to be a mother. But with any skill it takes a process of time, reflection, and experience to develop confidence. In order to develop an understanding of ourselves as mothers we have to have an awareness of who we are, our strengths and limitations, our values and perspectives, and most importantly, the way in which we perceive our beautiful imperfections. This workshop will involve group participation and insight-driven exercises to enhance your awareness of and love for the unique mother within you. Participants are encouraged to bring a personal journal for exercises.
