WHO YOU GONNA CALL? Dr. Lindley Winslow!
Dr. Lindley Winslow, Assistant Professor of Physics at MIT, is not only a brilliant scientist, but served as a science advisor for the recently released Ghostbusters film. Dr. Winslow studies neutrinos to see if these ghostly particles can explain the matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe and our very existence. In this 1-hour talk, Dr. Winslow will give an overview of the physics of the neutrino and explain the connection between her work and some of the real physics featured in the Ghostbusters film.
Tickets are required and include general admission to the Museum.
Part of Celebrating Women in Science — Presented by KeyBank.
