Have you ever wanted to learn blacksmithing? Come try your hand at forging iron at Cleveland Blacksmithing located in Cleveland's historic neighborhood of Ohio City.
Get your hands hot and learn your way around a blacksmith shop! We'll cover general safety practices, learning to light a forge, and the basic tools used in this age old craft. Next, we'll go over basic form of forging iron; heating, stance at the anvil, and hammer swing. Then, you'll take your first crack at hammering hot metal on an anvil where you'll make a useful wall hook (or two!) or a rudementary poking tool to be used in your fireplace or BBQ grill at home.
