In the first session, we'll discuss examples of ekphrastic poetry, explore museum artworks for inspiration, and try out exercises designed to help you develop your written voice. In between sessions, participants will write an ekphrastic poem to be shared and workshopped in the second session. Following the second session, participants are invited to read their work in an optional ekphrastic poetry open mic at CMA's Recital Hall on Sat. 4/21 at 2:30p.
