Jan Apisa, director of community engagement for the Victim Assistance Program, will discuss a serious but important topic — human trafficking. She will discuss everything from warning signs and indicators to the most current information.

Jan joined the Victim Assistance Program as a Human Trafficking Public Education Specialist in 2014. During this time, she coordinated a three month collaborative, Backpage Research Project of local human trafficking, and in December 2015, she accepted the nomination to co-chair the SCCAHT Executive Committee.
