Robert Koonce, a Cleveland native, grew up in Cleveland Heights attending St. Ann School and then St. Ignatius High School. He graduated from Case Western then moved to north Florida, where he got his start in fundraising as a development officer with the Catholic Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee. After returning to the Cleveland area he has worked in fundraising for University Hospitals, Western Reserve Land Conservancy, and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History before becoming the Chief Development Officer at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland. Robert serves on the boards of the Home Repair Resource Center, Lake Erie Ink: A Writing Space for Youth, teaches in the PSR program at Communion of Saints Parish and is also an avid gardener. He and his wife, Divina, have four wonderful children whom she homeschools.
